for future reference.
Mitered

this unique dovetail joining system.
Corner
Block Assembly V-Grooved corner block assembly and two bolt leg
attachments are part of the quality construction of our tables.
Mortise
and Tenon
Double Pedestal Tables feature mortise and tenon construction
in attaching the decorative centers to the pedestals. This type
of construction gives a pleasant appearance and a very rigid
base.
"Flat
Contact" Chair Legs
To prevent damage to your floor covering, all chair legs are
cut and sanded to the proper angle to make a flat contact with
your floor.
Chair Leg
Tenons
are hand-fitted and glued into seats for firm, tight fit. In
addition, each leg is also screwed to the seat. This construction
assures us that these joints are fortified to stay tight in
extreme conditions.
Chests Unlimited
A cedar sliding
tray 3" deep and half the length of the chest. Rails allow
the tray to slide from side to side or be removed.
All trunks have
an interior tray made of solid aromatic red cedar. The crossbeams
inside of the trunk lid add strength and an interesting structural
feature.
Dove tailed joinery
is available for all chests. This historical detail adds value
and beauty to your chest.
Key locks are standard
on all blanket chests, except Mission and Shaker.
Genuine Leather
handles and Brass-plated Hardware give our trunks the finished
authentic touch and serve for excellent function also.
Cedar lining is
available on any oak or cherry chest. You can order a full lining
or just the bottom. Cedar protects your woolen, fur, or linen
treasures from damage by moths.
